Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Jeff Tseng is responsible for driving and shaping Kontagent’s future growth and dominance in the mobile customer intelligence industry. His extensive knowledge and entrepreneurial roots in technology and data analytics run deep. Jeff has developed software for NASA, created mobile products for Fortune 500 companies, and designed automated sensors for the Center for Embedded Network Sensing.
Prior to Kontagent, Jeff founded Aevena, a firm that created hardware and software solutions for wireless and robotic sensor networks. Jeff also started RadioHop, a music discovery service that utilized audio recognition technology to identify songs on the radio. Jeff’s ambition has been apparent since childhood. He launched his first entrepreneurial venture at the age of 13–a comic production startup.
Jeff has bachelor and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was also a Ph.D. candidate in the same discipline. An adept programmer and data modeler, Jeff built the first iteration of Kontagent’s proprietary data analytics engine. Read less.

Josh Williams manages Kontagent’s strategic revenue projects, data science initiatives and corporate development. He is also in charge of driving Kontagent’s world-class proprietary data processing, analysis platform and algorithms into new verticals and markets. Read more.
A serial entrepreneur, Josh has extensive experience transforming technology companies into industry leaders. Prior to Kontagent, he served in executive positions at two highly successful startups. He was the CTO at a big-data firm specializing in automated real-time financial securities analysis until it was acquired in 2003. Josh was also the CEO and CTO at a leading game technology company where he guided its growth until its acquisition in 2007.

Chief Marketing Officer
Dan Kimball is responsible for developing Kontagent’s marketing strategies and communicating the company’s products, services, culture, promotions and brand to the open market. Read more.
Dan has extensive marketing experience and has held several senior marketing roles in various industries including financial services, consumer Internet and business-to-business SaaS. Prior to joining Kontagent, Dan served as CMO and head of product management for Jobfox, a leading social recruiting and online job board service.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Colgate University where he graduated cum laude. His drive to make sense of complex concepts and solutions comes from his unique background in philosophy, quantitative research and direct response marketing. Read less.
Charles Marker manages Kontagent’s engineering team. He is responsible for overseeing the design and development of Kontagent’s next generation of data intelligence solutions. Read more.
Charles is a Silicon Valley veteran and has held executive positions at a number of prominent technology firms. Prior to Kontagent, Charles was VP of operations and developer software at Yahoo! In this role, he was responsible for developing software for managing the company’s infrastructure and enabling software development for its properties. He also served as VP of software at Qualcomm Atheros, where he was in charge of software development for Wi-Fi and GPS products. Charles also co-founded BDNA Corporation, a leading provider of IT infrastructure insight and analysis. He was VP of engineering at Geocast Network Systems and has held various senior management roles, including director of engineering, at Silicon Graphics, Inc.
Charles has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He began his technology career as a scientist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory developing super computer operating systems.
VP, Customer Experience & Professional Services
Andy Arnold oversees Kontagent’s customer base and works to ensure their success with Kontagent’s products and services. Read more.
Andy has a passion for growing businesses and has a proven record of transforming budding ideas into massive financial successes. Prior to Kontagent, Andy was the VP of operations and managing director at Scient, an Internet and eBusiness consulting firm. During his tenure, Andy expanded Scient’s business operations from San Francisco to London, Munich and Paris. He also helped grow the company from inception to more than 2000 employees, $450 million in revenue and a successful IPO. Andy also served as the VP of services and support for Havok, a video game physics engine company. His work helped solidified Havok’s as an industry leader until its acquisition by Intel. Previous experience includes PwC and BSG Consulting.
Andy has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and economics from Denison University. He is also the co-founder of a successful gourmet popcorn company.
VP, Business Operations
Jimmy Fan is the company’s steady hand, working to ensure all of Kontagent’s day-to-day business operations run smoothly. Read more.
Jimmy’s knowledge of the mobile data and technology industry is vast, and he possesses years of domain expertise on both the business and technical side of the field. Before Kontagent, Jimmy served in technical leadership roles at Bell Mobility and Bell Canada, Canada’s largest telecommunications company. He facilitated collaboration among the organization’s internal teams and helped bring a variety of emerging mobile technologies to market. Jimmy also aided in developing business and technology solutions for Research In Motion and NVIDIA during their days of massive growth.
Jimmy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in system design engineering from the University of Waterloo. He also has a master’s degree in telecommunications from the University of Toronto. Jimmy is based in Kontagent’s Toronto office. Read less.

Before joining Kontagent, Shane was the VP of sales and new business at RightNow Technologies, a customer relationship management software company. During his eight-year tenure, Shane grew RightNow’s revenue immensely, taking it from startup to industry leader and ultimately its acquisition by Oracle Corporation for $1.5 billion in 2011. Prior to RightNow, Shane served in senior executive sales roles at TriActive, Siebel Systems and Fatbrain.com where he honed his enterprise sales and team-building skills.
Shane is a native Californian. He has a bachelor’s degree in law and society from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Read less.
Jon Skoglund oversees all aspects of Kontagent’s finance and accounting functions, including financial strategy, planning and analysis, treasury and risk management, legal, and investor relations. Jon has more than 20 years of corporate finance experience in the technology industry. Read more.
Prior to Kontagent, Jon served in executive finance roles for both private and public corporations. He was chief financial officer for Bayshore Global Management and was VP and principal accounting officer at Silicon Graphics International. Jon was also the corporate controller for Intuitive Surgical, Inc., a leading manufacturer of robotic surgical systems, and held progressively senior finance positions at Exodus Communications. Additionally, he has held positions at National Semiconductor and KPMG LLP.
Jon received his bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also has a master’s degree in finance from Santa Clara University and is a registered certified public accountant (inactive). Read less.
